Huge interest in Aspen for classic motorcycles

More than 30,000 classic motorcycle enthusiasts traveled from all across the UK on the 19-20th October to check out the 20th Carole Nash Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show in Staffordshire.

Aspen technical/sales rep Eddie Bocquillon was on site exhibiting together with hampshire based classic bike dealer Classic Super Bikes.

Aspen 4 is a great alternative to pump fuel for classic motorcycles because unlike the latter, Aspen will not go stale when stored for long periods of time causing running issues.

Aspen 4 is also free from Ethanol or other solvents which can cause havoc to classic motorcycle fueling systems. Ethanol absorbs moisture and will quickly start to eat away at rubber parts in the carburetor, fuel lines and fibreglass fuel tanks.

In the picture above you can see the damaged which has been caused to the fuel tank from a 1965 Royal Enfield Conintental GT by pump fuel containing ethanol which had been left sitting in the take for around 1 year. It is left useless and a replacement will have to be found meaning that the bike will no longer be original.

Aspen is recommended by Classic Superbikes for storage and for bikes with plastic or fibreglass fuel tanks.
